Further Information

Notes (MWS) A group of waxcaps with regular hymenophoral trama composed of long filamentous cells (up to 1mm) in the gill trama. These appear like tangled hair in gill squash microscopic preps.

Species with radially fibrillose and pointed conical caps, especially where the margin is flared, lobed or splitting belong here. As do brightly coloured species with young gills white, very pale or grey unless the gills are decurrent or subdecurrent.
