Review (by Malcolm Storey)

This volume covers the large family Gelechiidae. It includes a checklist, very clear line drawings of the genitalia of both sexes of each species, keys to genera using male genitalia and to imagines and detailed species accounts. These include descriptions of the life stages with host plant(s) or pabula, comments on similar species and a vice-county distribution map.

Additional keys include Scrobipalpa by genitalia and larvae of Caryocolum (provisional).

Richard Lewington’s beautiful paintings are a feature of this work.
