Review (by Malcolm Storey)

A guide to identifying dragonfly exuviae and live well-grown larvae. There is no dichotomous key, but the "quick guide" on p20-21 offers life-sized silhouettes which quickly take you to the correct group.

I think it’s fair to say that if you’re used to using a stereo microscope, you’ll probably prefer the key in Hammond.

Examinein the field in the field ( with x8 or x10 hand lens is also useful)
Specimen PreparationSome exuviae may need cleaning in vinegar.
