Review (by Malcolm Storey)

The methodologies for studying aphids.

Aphids are particlarly challenging to prepare for identification since they combine fragile appendages with opaque body contents that obscure the fine detail needed for identification. The contents must be chemically removed without damaging the delicate appendages or integument.
