Chalara fraxinea (now Hymenoscyphus fraxineus) has been spreading westwards across Europe since the early 1990’s. The Forestry Commission has released this Pest Alert following a couple of interceptions in the UK.

C. fraxinea is one of the causes of Ash Dieback Disease. The range of hosts is dicsussed. The symptoms described.
