Review (by Malcolm Storey)Analysed volatiles from a range of insectivorous plants. Pitcher plants produced the most volatiles and these included chemicals normally associated with flowers and fruits. The lower concentrations from the other insectivorous plants examined were mainly chemicals typical of green leaves.
