Review (by Malcolm Storey)

Introductory chapters cover Structure, Reproduction, Ecology, Distribution, Collection and Preservation. Although one chapter title includes "Preparation", this is not actually described (the previous edition does include this).

There is a dichotomous key to adults, followed by species descriptions which each start with a drawing of the whole animal, followed by decriptions of structure and distribution, drawings of taxonomic features and a 10KM distribution map.

Examine Stereo Microscope ( Compound Microscope is also useful)
Specimen PreparationMinimum handling as significant bristles are easily lost
Identification difficultyNeed good optics to see the small parts.
