Review (by Malcolm Storey) | A highly useful and well-illustrated account of the families and subfamilies of Hymenoptera. Despite the large geographic scope, it is much easier to use than the UK-only RES Handbooks, especially for parasitic groups eg subfamilies of Braconidae and Ichneumonidae, although presumably less reliable in its handling of those spp which don’t obey the rules.
