Questions whether Entoloma bloxamii and E. prunuloides really are distinct species in view of their macroscopic and microscopic similarity and E. bloxhamii’s propensity to lose all traces of blue colour.

Postcript: yes, they are distinct - and E. bloxhamii, as then understood, was a complex of several species.
