Review (by Malcolm Storey) | Nuggets gleaned from foray reports around the country in 1999. Four spp known only from Leicestershire: Gorgoniceps charnwoodensis, Conocybe cyanopus, Melanoleuca nivea and an undescribed Nectriella sp. The total no of fungus spp recorded in Wilts (N&S) now stands at over 2500, compared to 2656 for Warwickshire. Inocybe erubescens was unusually abundant in Berkshire in 1999. Mycena belliae, Battarraea phalloides and Caloscypha fulgens reported from Hunts in 1999. Rhodocybe roseiavellanea reported from Hants in 1999, and Boletus satanas fruiting with Common Rockrose (Helianthemum nummularium) |
