Review (by Malcolm Storey)

The introductory section includes a list of fungal genera containing entomopathogenic species followed by generic descriptions of each genus, including references to more detailed papers for species identification. This is followed by dichotomous keys to genera for Entomophthorales, Ascomycota and Deuteromycota.

The main body of the work (page 19 thru 127) consists of half-tone photographs and photomicrographs of fungi representative of each genus, arranged in alphabetical order. These enable visual identification to generic level; the references under the genus then lead to species dentification.

This is followed by further chapters on Fungal Pathogenesis, Natural Control, Biotechnology and Biological Control.
