Review (by Malcolm Storey) | Tremex fuscicornis is a north American sawfly which is now established in parts of Europe where it feeds on Acer saccharinum. The females sawflies carry Cerrena unicolor in their mycetangial pouches and infect the wood of which their larvae will feed. |
