Review (by Malcolm Storey)Unsurprisingly winged hyperparasitoids (Acrolyta nens, Gelis areator and Bathythrix aerea) favour pupae higher up in the plant whereas wingless species (Gelis proximus and G. hortensis) are commoner in pupae closer to the ground, although two winged species Pteromalus semotus and Lysibia nana had a slight preference for pupae lower down.
