A yellowish flea beetle that feeds on Teasel, Dipsacus fullonum. The adults may be found on the undersides of rosette leaves while the larvae probably feed on the roots.
The repeatedly published accidental association with Breckland Thyme Thymus serpyllum is a misinterpretation dating from the broader use of this name in Allen’s 1967 paper when he described the species. The record in question was from Ditchling Downs in Sussex - well outside the distribution of Breckland Thyme.
